“Landscape therapy is much more than an immersion in nature; It is an archaic language that involves our deep essence, an intimate and silent dialogue in which the natural world becomes an extension of our inner emotional space, an ancient call not to forget how deep our bond with nature and the planet is.

Observing a panorama is not just an aesthetic action, but a neurological balm that reduces anxiety and lowers stress levels, reconnecting us to our ancient roots. Therefore, the landscape is not just something we look at, it is a space that welcomes us, listens to us and, above all, takes care of us in a natural way.

In a life that too often imposes distraction on us, asks us to run, grind information and solicitations without reflecting or “listening” to what is happening around us, stopping to admire the horizon, the landscape on which we place our feet, is an act of pure inner revolution.

When our eyes get lost in the shades of a hill, in the green of a forest or in the distant profile of a valley or a mountain, something magical happens: breathing becomes slower and the heartbeat finds its natural rhythm, and we finally feel lighter and perceive ourselves and the deep well-being that this extraordinary condition generates in us.

There is no need to travel far, the deep sense of landscape therapy can develop wherever there is beauty waiting for us, and beauty does not reside only outside, but also and above all in the eyes of those who look at it, sometimes looking for it.

It is the feeling of peace we feel when we observe the light of the sunset grazing over the fields, or when we listen to the wind move the branches of the trees or simply stop in the middle of nature to listen to subtle sounds.

At that precise moment, the external world merges with the inner one. The landscape becomes a silent therapist that does not judge, is not in a hurry and does not ask for anything in return. It takes care of our emotional wounds by giving us a broader perspective: it reminds us that we are part of a bigger, more wonderful, and resilient cycle.

Every tree, every flower, every glimpse teaches us the beauty of slowness and the strength of blooming after every winter. Immersing oneself in the landscape means healing through wonder. It is an invitation to find one’s own centre, letting nature heal the body and nourish the soul,” she told us.
