Medical + physiotherapy center, led by Dr. Antonella Procacci, achieved an important accomplishment on September 4th by obtaining accreditation from the Umbria Region as a facility fully compliant with regional regulations.
This recognition officially confirms its status as an accredited professional practice. “We are one of the few physiotherapy centers in the Umbria area that fully meet the criteria set by the Region and, moreover, we are women-led,” says Dr. Procacci”.
There are 184 facilities affiliated with the Umbria Region, all of which are outpatient clinics and private clinics; only Medical + stands out as one of the few specialized physiotherapy practices-in fact, the only one in this area. This achievement is the result of continuous growth and development of our practice and my team after more than twenty-five years of activity.
Accreditation involves adopting specific rules and procedures concerning both the techniques and the equipment and products used, thereby ensuring high standards of integrity and professionalism. Medical+ already stands out for its use of advanced machinery in physical and manual therapies and is the only center in the area to have a dedicated hydrotherapy facility with a rehabilitative pool within the physiotherapy center. Additionally, there are two inhalation stations with thermal waters for respiratory treatments. With this new recognition, the Medical+ Physiotherapy Center firmly reinforces its professionalism and increasingly establishes itself as an essential point of reference for all residents of Alto Chiascio who require various types of rehabilitation, allowing them to stay close to their community without having to travel elsewhere.
