It’s the first private physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre born in Mugello and Valdisieve.
Passion, innovation and experience. These are the elements that distinguish the Centro di Fisioterapia e Riabilitazione del Mugello. It is the first private centre of this type born in Mugello and Valdisieve which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Founded in 2003 by Andrea Parigi, Marco Tagliaferri and Roberto Chelazzi, it has established itself since the beginning as a point of reference for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the area.
The three founding partners had already been working for years in important structures and at the beginning of the 2000s they thought of setting up their own centre in their area of origin. Over the years the staff has expanded with the help of new professionals. Today the team is made up of physiotherapists: Andrea Parigi, Cristiana Del Soldato, Carla Cipriani, Roberto Chelazzi, Riccardo Bandini, Francesca Tagliaferri, Filippo Giovannetti and Pietro Bolognesi; then there are the administrative secretary, Laura Ceseri, who has been part of the group since the foundation of the structure, and Sara Baldini who collaborates in the administrative and organizational management.
“We are a whitefly, we aim to provide a complete and quality health service. We know how debilitating it is to have to live with pain, so we do everything possible to solve the patient’s problem and understand its causes, meeting their economic needs as well. In fact, we provide free physiotherapy consultations, guaranteeing flexibility in appointment times” explains Andrea Parigi.
Each physiotherapist in the structure has its own professional specialization or personal inclination. Each of them aims to be constantly updated. For example Riccardo has recently obtained the qualification of osteopath, while Carla and Cristiana are attending the pelvic floor rehabilitation course. A heterogeneous team capable of responding to the needs of all patients, from the injured young sportsman to the elderly.
The centre is characterized by a wide range of latest generation machinery necessary for the treatment of pain: CO2 laser, Yag laser, ultrasound, Tecar, shock waves, magneto …

Being part of the Mugello Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre is like being wrapped in a warm embrace, it’s like becoming part of a big family.
“For the next 20 years? – concludes Andrea – We would like the Centre to continue acquiring new professionals, keeping up with the times, and preserving the spirit that has always distinguished us: humanity and the desire to make people feel good”.
