The history of the Bedini family takes us back almost a hundred years. It all started when Stefano and Roberta’s great-grandfather, who returned from Switzerland, dedicated himself to the sale and repair of watches. Stefano and Roberta are now part of the new generation with their “Gioielleria Bedini Celso” in the heart of Gubbio, on the main street. Driven by the desire to create something handcrafted and unique that would represent their city, Gubbio, they first made a choker and a silver bracelet with the city skyline. Then they created a collection designed together and even more linked to local history: Genio Umbro. The name recalls the genius of the ancient Umbrian and Etruscan peoples, experts in the art of silver. The main inspiration comes from the Gubbio tables; this collection with a simple and austere design recalls Etruscan ornaments and is engraved with the characters of the ancient Umbrians present in the tables kept at the Palazzo dei Consoli.
In the collection you will find bracelets such as IKUVIUM (larger) or RUMA (thinner), rings such as VELATHRI, ASSISIUM earrings and TIFERNUM chokers: all handmade even in the engravings made using the burin technique, each piece is one of a kind.
