Always attentive to issues of protection and justice, attorney Francesco Sticchi has built his career navigating both civil and criminal law, combining technical rigor with genuine concern for people. Today, his name is particularly associated with a delicate and crucial field: credit recovery, a sector that involves both businesses and professionals.
“I often assist doctors and other professionals who, despite carrying out their work with great diligence, struggle to receive proper payment for their services,” he explains. “My role is to safeguard their rights, but also to ensure that the procedure doesn’t become an additional burden or source of conflict.”
Alongside this, Sticchi deals with an area that in Italy deserves greater awareness: debt relief and crisis management procedures introduced by Law No. 3 of 2012, commonly known as the “anti-suicide law.”
“Many people,” he explains, “live under extreme stress due to debts they can no longer manage. Few, however, know that the legal system allows them to reach an agreement with creditors or, in extreme cases, to obtain debt discharge. It’s a complex process, but one that can restore dignity and peace of mind to those overwhelmed by financial difficulties.”
On the criminal law front, Sticchi increasingly handles cases involving defamation and online offenses, crimes that have grown alongside the rise of social media.
“Today, people who post comments or messages often forget that freedom of expression is not absolute,” he notes. “There are limits of truth and respect which, when crossed, can lead to serious legal consequences.”
A constant thread runs through his work: a focus on fast, practical, and low-conflict solutions. In this spirit, Sticchi has embraced and promoted the use of assisted negotiation, a procedure that allows couples to manage separations and divorces without going through court, offering clear advantages in terms of time and cost.
“It’s a modern tool that puts dialogue and common sense at the center,” he concludes. “And when the law succeeds in fostering peace—even between people who are parting ways—it truly fulfills its most noble purpose.”
